Cruise Control installed!

Installed Veridian Cruise Control on my Royal Enfield Himalayan 450!

The installation procedure is simple, remove the tank, remove the tank support plate that covers the ABS and you're half done.

The installation continues by locating the throttle grip connector and intercepting it by connecting the system developed by Veridian, then making the final connection by inserting the last pin of the kit into the red diagnostic connector.

Nothing impossible but be careful: When you set the connectors of the kit that intercept the accelerator, pay attention to the spaces and the length of the cable that goes to the diagnostic port, if you position the cables and the Veridian control unit too far forward or slightly too far outwards, you risk not closing the tank or not having enough cable to be able to subsequently connect the red connector to the diagnostic port.

I therefore recommend taking good measurements in advance and then proceeding with the connections, checking that all the cables reach their destination before permanently fixing them with cable ties (never tighten the cable ties before finishing the job).
